La Natividad y El Paso PR one step away from glory

Both teams triumphed in the Semifinals and on Saturday will face each other in Palermo for the title.

La Natividad defeated El Desafio, in the first Semi 19-14. El Desafio started off a bit better than its oponent. For La Natividad was a tough first period. Juan Chavanne had to replace Federico Von Potobsky (injured in the second minute of the first chukker). The fourth chukker was closed 12-10 favouring El Desafío. But in the fifth chukka, the game took a suddent turn, Lolo and his kids stepped up their game and the result was an epic win by the family team.

Camilo Castagnola stood up from all other playerts and if he wins on Saturday will become the youngest winner in history of the Cup, that has taken place since 1929. He would break the record shared by Benjamin Araya (1978) and Javier Novillo Astrada (1990), who both achieved it at 14.

La Natividad: (6-0) 7-1, 9-4, 11-7, 12-10, 17-11 y 19-14

In the second Semifinal, El Paso beat Coronel Suarez 19-15. From the start to the very end, the Orange team dominated the game, and already on the end of the fourth chukka the match was defined.

El Paso Polo Ranch: (0-12) 4-12, 5-13, 9-13, 14-13, 17-13 y 19-15.
